Cooperating teachers and school personnel represent a valued resource to the University of Illinois professional educator preparation programs and make significant contributions to the professional growth and development of our candidates.  We are grateful to our school partners and professionals who lend their sites, expertise, time, and knowledge to partner with Illinois in training the next generation of exceptional educators.  Cooperating personnel coach, model, and train candidates through direct, real-time instructional experiences in schools and serve as a critical link between preparation coursework and clinical experiences.
